Cryo-treatment is not a panacea for parts with faults, it will only improve the wear-life of an item. The process will not prevent an item from breaking. It is incumbent upon the user to provide good parts to start with.
REM ISF® is not a rough surface finishing process. Since it has minimal material removal so as to not affect the part dimensionally, it will only produce an improved surface as to what it starts with. In other words, if it’s rough to the touch, it will be shiny and rough as a finish.
